The city of Rivas-Vaciamadrid has just opened a new parking area for motorhomes and campervans, located on Calle del Electrodo, right next to the municipal services center. Well-planned circulation: the layout includes two parking bands in battery arrangement and an 8-meter-wide central lane paved with patterned concrete.

Rules and important information for camper users
To ensure the space is used respectfully and efficiently, the city council has set a few key rules:

Parking is allowed for up to 72 consecutive hours. Once you leave, you must wait at least 48 hours before parking the same vehicle again.

It’s not permitted to unfold awnings, place chairs or tables outside, occupy more than one space, or discharge waste outside the designated zones — this is a parking area, not a campsite.

Noise or disturbances affecting neighborhood peace are not allowed.

Management and access are handled through the “PVerde” mobile app, which helps monitor occupancy and use. The local police will also supervise the area.
